The second regional stakeholder workshop in Austria took place on September 29, 2017 organised by the Environment Agency Austria. Experts from the waste industry, authorities, environmental inspectors, the Austrian Ministry of Environment, experts from the Environment Agency Austria and EMAS verifiers exchanged experiences regarding EMAS and environmental laws and regulations. After four input presentations the expert discussed realisation and interpretations of selected laws and regulations in relation to EMAS. Best Practices were exchanged and future regulatory reliefs were recommended. Next steps were planned for the following stakeholder workshops and the ENHANCE project.
