"EU CYCLE PROJECT, CYCLE PATHS AND BICYCLE PARKING STATIONS IN THE APULIAN MUNICIPALITIES – BEST PRACTICES AND EUROPEAN RECOMMENDATIONS"

On the initiative of the Sustainable Mobility Section of the Puglia Region, partner of the EU CYCLE project, an online meeting with the Apulian municipalities on "Cycle paths and bicycle parking stations – Best practices and European recommendations", will be held on the 21st of February 2022 from 9.00 am to 11.00 am.
The EU CYCLE project aims to improve the effectiveness of the EU investments supporting the development of cycling infrastructures through the exchange of good practices among project partners, with the aim to capitalize the results already achieved, and not to repeat the mistakes already made by others.
The online meeting is reserved to the project managers responsible for the projects assessed to be eligible for funding by the Puglia Region under the ERDF POR Puglia 2014-2020 4.4 Actions, related to cycle paths and bicycle parking station.
The EU CYCLE project and the exchange of good practices have allowed the acquisition of suggestions and recommendations that will be shared during the online meeting, so that the projects funded by the Puglia Region through the ERDF funds can be increasingly characterized by better quality and in line with the approaches followed in other European countries.
During the online meeting it will also be asked to the Municipalities representatives to join the local Group of Stakeholders of the Puglia Region, which has been established within the EU CYCLE project framework and which, among others, will be invited to participate in study visits on good cycling practices expected to be organised in April 2022 by the project partners.
