INTERMODALITY - BICYCLE AND OTHER TRANSPORT MODALITIES

WITH THE STAKEHOLDER NETWORK OF PUGLIA REGION “MIMOSA" AND "EU CYCLE" COOPERATION PROJECTS 

Combined cycling and public transport represent a topic of fundamental importance – especially in our time characterised by ecological transition, energy efficiency in the transport sector and the fight against climate change – in order to plan, implement and manage integrated and sustainable mobility systems at all levels of scale.

The Sustainable Mobility Section of Puglia Region Mobility Department, actively involved in the management of two European cooperation projects (MIMOSA - INTERREG ITALY CROATIA 2014-2020 and EU CYCLE - INTERREG EUROPE 2014-2020) intends to deepen with the network of Apulian stakeholders the topic of modal integration between cycling and other transport networks, presenting existing good practices, illustrating potential ones as well as informing on initiatives implemented also through the MIMOSA and EU CYCLE projects themselves.

The seminar is addressed to all stakeholders including Local Authorities, Transport Authorities, Management Companies of Local Public Transport, Universities, tourism promotion Operators, Associations of users.
