Digitisation solutions to valorise and promote cultural heritage

Tuesday 9 June 2020, 01:04 - 01:05, Column 2

Digitisation solutions can help regions to connect people with cultural heritage during the crisis period, while also supporting the economic recovery effort. The CD-ETA project offers plenty of inspiration in this field. Good practices from Tuscany have already inspired several actions in the field of cultural heritage digitisation in different regions around Europe. They have inspired the Region of Western Greece to look into virtual reality and augmented reality to promote their cultural heritage. And the Estonian War Museum drew inspiration for piloting 3D modelling to digitise their artefacts. If you are curious to know more, make sure to join #europecooperates on 9 June and hear how to valorise cultural heritage with the use of digital and innovative technologies.
