Marie is in charge of supporting applicants, assessing applications and monitoring projects achievements. She is also responsible for the policy learning platform related to environment and resource efficiency.
Marie joined the secretariat in 2015. Before she worked for two years at the joint technical secretariat of the Interreg IV A France-Switzerland programme. She was also a project manager for six years for Euromontana, the European association for mountain areas, in Brussels, where she was in charge of managing projects and of monitoring policy development in the field of environment, transport, energy, forestry and agriculture.
Marie graduated in agriculture and rural sciences at the Montpellier Sup Agro Institute in France and holds a Master's degree in Management of agro-ecological knowledge and social change from the University of Wageningen in the Netherlands.
She speaks French and English.
