Jason Martinez

Coordinator - Projects, Interreg Europe, Lille, France

Jason is in charge of supporting applicants, assessing applications and monitoring projects achievements. He is also responsible for the policy learning platform related to Research and Innovation. He joined the Secretariat in April 2013.

Jason previously worked for seven years at IDEPA, the Regional Development Agency of Asturias Regional Authority, in Spain, where he managed several projects co-financed by the EU Structural Funds, such as INTERREG IIIC South ESTIIC, INTERREG IVC nano4m, BORDWIIS+ and Atlantic Area AT-Clusters.

Jasón holds a degree in economy and a PhD programme in business administration, which he acquired at the University of Oviedo (Spain).

He speaks Spanish, English and French.
