The COVID19 pandemic showed many inequalities in healthcare systems. Equal and easy access to care is essential. Telemedicine, e-health are now becoming less expensive and easy to use thanks to connected medical devices, that can send information about health status of elderly, chronic patients or during rehabilitation processes. It is of great interest to compare and learn from various experiences in European regions and open the possibilities offered by new technology. Although remote care/monitoring seems desirable, especially in rural or isolated areas, it should favor inclusion and not increase the digital gap between EU citizens.
