Barcelona is calling for the “Urban Mobility for Energy Transition” event on the 3 October 2018 in Casa LLotja de Mar! We kindly invite you to participate at this 4th EV Energy Dissemination Event, this time hosted by our Spanish partner Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona.
The first objective of this event is to demonstrate the developments in Barcelona and Catalonia on electric mobility and the required (smart) charging infrastructure. As a second objective, it focuses on the definition of near future developments regarding the upscaling of EV numbers, types, the infrastructure and the related challenges and how to deal with them. The mid-long term objective demonstrates the need for integration with local renewable energy for a large-scale rollout of electric mobility, needed for the city transition.
These objectives offer new business and innovation opportunities for local and regional stakeholders. Meanwhile existing knowledge and lessons learned in European cities on this growing topic are presented and shared, aiming for fruitful cross-European cooperation.
Part of the agenda are also a B2B event and a Marketplace, where local and foreign companies have the possibility to present themselves, meet and network during organised one on one sessions and set the base for future business cooperation. The B2B, same as the Marketplace, are organised by the Catalan Energy Cluster (CEEC).
The event furthermore counts on the support of LIVE Platform (Barcelona City Council), the Catalan Energy Institute (Government of Catalonia), TMB (Barcelona Metropolitan Transports) and Expoelectric (the most important electric vehicle event in southern Europe). Expoelectric celebrates its 8th edition the weekend after our event (6-7 October) and kindly invites you to drop on by!
