The Emilia-Romagna Region created, in collaboration with the provinces and employment offices, an online portal called “Lavoro per te” to help Emilia-Romagna farms in the search and recruitment of seasonal workforce.
This tool can be fundamental to overcome the current difficulties in finding workers due to the restrictive measures related to Coronavirus that have blocked the borders and the mobility of the seasonal workers, making it difficult to carry on the work in the fields and stables and guaranteeing the necessary food supplies.
The "Lavoro per te" Portal service is addressed to both companies and jobseekers. Once registered, companies and workers access their own “virtual desk”: companies enter their job advertisements with a simplified procedure by completing an online form in which they must specify their needs (job profiles required, type of activity, duration of employment, etc.), while jobseekers view company announcements and can apply.
