The Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment is representing Ireland in an Interreg Europe Project – GPP4Growth which launched this year. The goal of the project is to develop green public procurement policy, raise awareness, increase investment, train procurement professionals and increase the number of tenders with Green Public Procurement (GPP) criteria.

We would like to invite you to the first stakeholder meeting of the GPP4Growth project in Dublin @ The Clayton Hotel, Cardiff Lane on the 22nd of June from 9.30am until 13.30pm. The event programme is attached.

The GPP4Growth project aims to support public administrations and businesses to adopt lifecycle cost approaches and improve the overall management of resources and waste through GPP. The project will provide a platform for public authorities to share practices and experiences relevant to implementing GPP, and help identify opportunities to apply GPP to achieve green growth.

This event is the first of a number of meetings scheduled for the next two years which will gather advice, experience and feedback from the key stakeholders within the area of GPP in Ireland.
