The meeting took place on the 1st of December (Friday) in the hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. The meeting was attended by 16 local stakeholders, including representatives from two municipalities in the region of Stara Zagora – Stara Zagora and Radnevo, the Executive Environment Agency, Chamber of Commerce and Industry Stara Zagora, the Ministry of Labor and social policy, the Executive Agency of Fisheries and Aquaculture (EAFA), the Ministry of education and science, the Ministry of transport, information technology and communications.

The meeting began with a presentation about the GPP4Growth project, the problems that the project addresses and aims to solve. After that Venelin Dobrev from SZREDA presented different good practices that were seen during the interregional workshop in Lodz, Poland that the team of SZREDA attended in mid November. There was discussion with the representatives of the different ministries in Bulgaria if some of the suggested good practices are applicable for Bulgaria. Based on their feedback a policy recommendation will be drafted and send.

The representative of municipality Radnevo requested that all good practice guides that are developed until now based on the work of the GPP4Growth project consortium to be send to her in order to see what good practices might be implemented in the municipality. Later on all participants from different public administrations requested the good practice guides for A1.2 and A1.3 to be send to them.


The representative of the Ministry of transport, information technology and communications asked if it is possible to consult for good practices in the partner’s regions related to a green public procurement that they are considering to make.


All stakeholders confirmed their readiness to participate and exchange good practices between them the upcoming  stakeholder meetings in the next semesters.
