Project partners of the Interreg HELIUM project improve their policy and resources in the field of healthcare (with a focus on e-Health) by sharing their Good Practices. From the start of the project 40 Good Practices are identified and analysed. Project partners looked already at the Good Practices for possibilities for implementation of these Good Practices in their region.

At the Liverpool Staff Exchange partners meet up to share their experiences, talk about the implementation of the Good Practices and to take further steps for implementation. At this event partners will focus on three Good Practices:

Innovation Scouts
In this program professionals participate voluntarily. The aim of this program is to coach these professionals to implement a culture in their organizations that focuses on the implementation of proven health innovations.

Acorn
Acorn is a business support platform specialized in start-ups and small companies in the field of health innovation. Besides traditional mentoring, this platform provides financial resources for the companies.

Alder Hey
Alder Hey is a children’s hospital in Liverpool with a unique approach. Most of the times traditional innovations in healthcare are invented, designed and developed from the perspective of an adult. Alder Hey is doing this from the perspective of a child. Besides the hospital is extremely active in detecting and using new innovations in healthcare.
