In their respective meetings 19 June Vest-Agder County Council and Aust-Agder County Council both approved allocation of additional regional development funds in order for the two county councils to better exploit the results obtained in Hericoast-project phase 1.
The funds will be allocated for the year 2019 and will be dedicated to pursuit of actions to be outlined in the upcoming Regional Action Plan. The actions will mainly be dedicated to the continuation of the work with improved value creation and visitor attractiveness, disseminating knowledge on heritage maintenance amongst private owners and craftsmen and research on new management models for cultural environments.
The funding will allow the county councils to hire a 100% staff resource for whole 2019.
