At the first local stakeholder group meeting, the participants linked to the social and health sector - Regional Health Service of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (SESARAM), WOWSYSTEMS Company, Higher School of Nursing of São José de Cluny (ESESJC), Madeira Social’s Security Institute (ISSM) and Regional Secretariat for Social Inclusion and Citizenship (SRIC) -, discussed and exchanged views on how the crisis caused by Covid-19 is impacting the provision of home health care in the Autonomous Region of Madeira; what measures to adopt to face and recover from this unprecedented crisis, continuing to improve regional development policies; the home care research and innovation ecosystem, the main formal and informal providers, business actors, research and public institutions working in the home care sector and also about the importance of cooperation in Quadruple Helix.
