Two separate initiatives regarding IPP are taking place online in the form of webinars.


EcoQuip+, a collaborative innovation procurement project that aims at demonstrating how pro-innovation procurement methods help to improve the efficiency, quality and sustainability of healthcare, launches webinar series covering key aspects of this subject. The webinars will be presented by practitioner experts in the field who will use case examples to show how innovation can deliver better outcomes and better value for the healthcare and wider public services. On 16 Interreg Europe will organise a webinar on public procurement of innovation (PPI). This webinar will show policymakers how the use of demand-side measures such as PPI can boost regional innovation capabilities. The objectives of webinar include:

  • Exploring the concept of public procurement of innovation (PPI);
  • Complementing the policy brief on Industry 4.0 and University-Industry collaboration and our Mission-oriented innovations webinar that presented the concept of public procurement;
  • Looking into the latest policy trends in public procurement of innovation and the latest policy findings from policymakers and experts;
  • Exploring Good Practices from selected Interreg Europe projects;
    Facilitating networking between projects and participants.
