On 9th and 10th October stakeholder learning workshops will be organised in Latvia. International experts from France have been invited to host the meetings with Latvian policy makers and research and innovation infrastructure (RII) owners to introduce them to the newest trends in RII development.

On 9th October in Rīga experts Dr. Pierre Padilla and Dr. Emmanuel Boudard will talk about current trends in RII development and business models, best practices on creation and management of RII shared facilities, business cases of RII management and collaboration among RIIs and SMES, supported with good example cases from other regions/countries and organizations. The stakeholder learning workshop will also allow Vidzeme Planning Region experts to gather input from the stakeholders and ensure their commitment to the implementation of the INNO INFRA SHARE Vidzeme Planning Region action plan. This meeting will be attended by representatives from several ministries, including the Ministry of Education and Science who is the national institution responsible for RII policy in Latvia.

On 10th October in Cēsis regional stakeholders together with the experts will further discuss and revise the proposed actions under the Vidzeme Planning Region INNO INFRA SHARE action plan to ensure the local stakeholder commitment to its implementation.
