Last month, Hungary’s most modern thermal park was opened, in Debrecen, the home city of the InnovaSPA project partner, University of Debrecen.
While a year ago, at the time of the study visit there, the partners could have a look at the construction area, for now after a large-scale development of the retro spa, a totally new open-air section of the Aquaticum spa was opened to the public in the area of the Big Forest. The investment was possible with the co-financing of the European Commission and the Hungarian Government, through the Economic Development and Innovation Operational Programme (GINOP) 2014-2020.
