The project partners and their associated Stakeholders will learn about Milton Keynes Transport Innovation and Mobility Strategy from Brian Matthews. Brian will also outline the history of electric vehicles in Milton Keynes, the different operator models in use today and plans by Milton Keynes Council to grow the use of electric vehicles within the city.  Jeremy Draper will demonstrate how Milton Keynes parking strategy is contributing to reduced congestion and lower carbon emissions. The first morning will conclude with a visit to the Milton Keynes electric vehicle showroom where participants will study the efforts being made by the Council to promote the use of electric vehicles. 

On the afternoon of the first day participants will see how different types of electric vehicle perform in the city. They will visit an electric vehicle hub (Coachway), see an autonomous delivery system (Starship Robots), and an Electric bus charging point. Day one will conclude with a visit to Bletchley Park stadium to see electric vehicle charging stations in action. 

On the second day participants will visit the United Kingdoms premier low carbon vehicle show - CENEX in nearby Millbrook. There they will see the latest developments in low carbon vehicle technology, hear about the issues facing the industry and participate in some of the seminars on offer at the show(see website: www.cenex-lcv.co.uk
