This webinar is being produced as an alternative to the study visit that was to take place to Almada in April of this year. The study visit was cancelled due to the pandemic Codiv-19. The webinar will focus on the community engagement techniques utilised by the Municipal Energy Agency of the city of Almada (AGENEAL) prior to, during and after the deep energy efficiency retrofitting of a set of apartments. The project considerably improved the energy efficiency of the buildings, lowering their carbon footprint and improved the qualified of life for the occupants.The webinar will be hosted on Skype.
Almada is located on the south bank of the river Tagus estuary opposite Lisbon in Portugal.
