The StEmp Tool (Stakeholder Empowerment Tool) was developed by the Energieavantgarde Anhalt e.V. in cooperation with the Reiner Lemoine Institut in context of the Kopernikus Project. The Project was financed by the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung. It is a tool accessible by all community members, to be used to get an overview of land usage and the available energy systems to help plan sustainable developments. Currently this Tool is only available for the region Anhalt within the Region Saxony-Anhalt but it is designed to be transferrable to more regions and countries.

Today the StEmp Tool is a Good Practice that EAA shares with all the partners of Intensify, a European Project from Interreg that aims to reduce carbon emissions through increased community engagement: www.interregeurope.eu/policylearning/good-practices/item/3240/stemp-tool-stakeholder-empowerment-tool/.

The EAA was invited to present the StEmp Tool at the 19th European Week of Regions and CitiesOctober 13, 2021 at 14:30h as part of the Participatory Lab “Citizen participation: key to building public support for the uptake of renewable energy”. To register for this discussion follow
