A newly developed eLearning Platform called ACT4ECO aims to engage and empower all consumers to reduce energy use in the home across Europe.

The ACT4ECO platform provides information on how to change your home, both on a small scale and on a larger scale. It enables users to learn how to change their habits and become aware of unconscious energy-consuming traps one might fall into once improvements in the home has been made. It aids users to avoid reverting to previous bad habits by helping a change in behaviour. For example, many people have a habit of leaving the lights on after making the switch to energy-efficient LED lights bulbs. However, by simply becoming aware of this tendency can prevent users from repeating old habits.

The energy efficiency platform ACT4ECO is part of Energy Conscious Consumers (ECO2) Horizon 2020 EU project.
