Camden Fort Meagher lies at the entrance to Cork Harbour. It is one of three forts built during the Victorian era to protect the Naval Base in Haulbowline from attack by Sea. The Cork Region of Engineers Ireland organised the visit and were delighted to invite Matus Skvarka and Gabriel Bajúzik from Trnava along for the visit. The visit was a welcome introduction to Cork for the two visitors.
