In order to implement the Paris Climate Protection Agreement, it is necessary to convert almost the entire energy supply in Germany to renewable energies. This includes - especially in Lower Saxony - not only the generation of electricity from photovoltaics but also the further expansion of wind energy use. In this context, conflicts with nature conservation and species protection issues arise time and again. But is a nature-compatible energy transition possible? And what prerequisites must be created to resolve the conflict between species and climate protection?

We want to answer these questions in our online event "Wind Energy and Species Protection. With each other instead of against each other - how can this succeed?" and discuss them with you. We look forward to your participation.

- The participation in the online event is free of charge. Registrations up to 21.10.2020 to [email protected].
