In the INSIDE research project, the fundamentals of PV generation in Lower Saxony were investigated in an interdisciplinary manner. The aim was to explore options that increase the acceptance of ground-mounted PV plants (PV-FFA) in Lower Saxony and thus enable the strong expansion of solar energy that will be necessary in the future. Technical options for minimising land consumption and multifunctional utilisation concepts (e.g. agro-photovoltaics) were examined, as were approaches for increasing acceptance and improving the aesthetic integration of the plants into the Lower Saxony landscape.
The results of the research project will be presented at the online event. Based on statements from the departments of the Lower Saxony ministries and two practical examples, the status and perspectives of implementation in Lower Saxony will be discussed.
