The Leibniz University of Hannover offers an open lecture on hydrogen in the use of renewable energies, Speaker: Prof. Dr Richard Hanke-Rauschenbach, Institute for Electrical Energy Systems, 17.00, online :

Hydrogen - a molecule makes a career! At the moment, the colourless and odourless gas is present in almost every energy policy debate. Its contribution to climate protection depends to a large extent on its origin - it should be produced as far as possible by means of electrical energy from renewable sources. Likewise, the specific field of application is of great importance - if hydrogen can be used in heavy industry or in heavy and air transport in a way that has an impact on the climate, it has rather no place in the heating sector, at least for the moment.
