The social and institutional committees are periodic meetings that the Government of Aragon holds to inform them first-hand of the different lines in which the Government of Aragon is working, on the one hand to have a control and stagnation of pollution on the substance so that it does not reach the Gállego basin and, on the other, of the opening of investigation channels that help combat the elimination of the substance in the vicinity of Sabiñánigo. In this event apart of inform about these issues, they inform about other EU founds specifically HCH in EU on behalf of the European Commission DG Environment, the Consortium (TAUW, CDM Smith Europe GmbH and SARGA) is creating an EU wide inventory of potentially HCH impacted sites. In addition the Consortium assists selected public authorities confronted with HCH sites.
