Responsible Research & Innovation should be more than an ambition. Consequently, the MARIE project initiates Interregional Learning Events (ILE). The next seventh ILE will take place in Kiel, Germany on 13-14 June 2019.

In order not only to present and discuss specific activities related to RRI theoretically in our internal workshop on 13 June, the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Schleswig-Holstein have decide to present RRI in practice with a session stream at the Waterkant Festival on 14 June 2019.

Under the title Added value and business opportunities related to a future battery cell cluster in SH – developments in the light of RRI the MARIE project as collaborative partner will present, how with the mind-set of RRI, aspects of power infrastructure, storage and capacity management, related technologies and integrated mobility concepts could create future-oriented added value.

The methodology of the good practice example from Schleswig-Holstein will be used to establish dialogues, networks and cooperation between companies, start-ups, science and specific initiatives across different sectors. The objective in the stream Power–Technology–Mobility is to show and discuss potentials and business opportunities for start-ups and incumbents, reflect on new system solutions and provide impulses for cross fertilisation between sectors and to provoke new interactions to enable concrete implementation processes.
