The Interreg Europe Program has just validated the six action plans of the MONITORIS3 project partners. These plans include the actions that each of the partners will develop in Phase 2 of the project. All the actions designed aim to improve the policy instruments addressed by partners thanks to better monitoring strategies  that were identified during Phase 1 of the project, as a result of the exchange of experiences between the partners.

With the validation of these action plans, the MONITORIS3 partners finalize Phase 1 and begin Phase 2, which will have notorial practical work.

The project
MONITORIS3 is a project funded under the second call of the Interreg Europe Programme. The Project aims at improving the implementation of regional development policies and programmes that support the delivery of innovation by actors in regional innovation chains in areas of “smart specialisation” and innovation opportunity.

The project has a duration of 5 years and gathers 6 partners from 6 EU Regions plus 1 advisory partner with competences on implementing and/or monitoring S3.

Throughtout the project duration, partners will be able to identify Good Practices on monitoring strategies of Smart Specialization at Interregional level. From those, the Best Practices will be then selected as a source of inspiration during the elaboration of the Regional Action Plans on S3 monitoring during the 2nd phase of the project.
