In mid-March, we opened the final draft of our cooperation programme for 2021-2027 to public consultation. We invited a wide range of stakeholders to read the draft and contribute with their comments either during the online webinar on 24 March or in a survey. The survey closed on 16 April.

Participation in the public consultation

Close to 650 people took part in the online webinar presenting the final cooperation programme draft. They asked over 100 questions, many of which were addressed directly during the webinar. You can read a synthesis of the main comments from the webinar in this brief report.

The survey was open for one month - from 15 March to 16 April. Over 550 people contributed with their points. The respondents represent 31 different countries and left over 250 comments.

We are very happy that a large number of people, representing many countries and a variety of institutions, took the time and contributed to our programming.

We thank all for the interest in our programme and participation in the consultation!

Next steps

We are going through the comments now and our programming committee is supposed to finalise the cooperation programme in June. Once finalised, the Partner States will sign their partnership agreements and the programme will be ready for submission to the European Commission for approval.
