How can outskirts be better connected to metropolitan cities? What role can soft digitalisation play to attract and retain people, know-how and capital in the outskirts? How can soft digitalisation be implemented in “next-to-met” areas?
Find answers to these key issues at the second Next2Met Policy Learning Event!
After a first successful session in Lahti in January 2020, the Next2Met project is organising an online International Information and Exchange Seminar on 14 May 2020.
During this online meeting, regional actors and stakeholders from Lower Austria will present their good practices as a basis for exchange of information and further discussions. This open Interregional Exchange Workshop will be the opportunity to learn, find inspiration from local good practices and exchange on their potential transferability to other regions.
Hosted by the project partner the Office of the Lower Austrian Federal Government, this interregional event is organised back-to-back with an internal workshop, which will bring together Next2Met partners from: Päijät-Häme, Lower Austria, Barcelona, Eastern and Midland Regional Assembly, Podlaskie Voivodship and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Have a look at the full programme of the event and register here. If you register by 29 April 2020, you may have the chance to receive VR cardboard glasses to participate in an immersive visit of Lower Austria!
Update 13/05/2020: The registration form is now closed, but you can still register to this event! Please write an email to Delphine Kaczorowski ( [email protected]) or Clare Booth ( [email protected] ) and we will be happy to provide you all details!
