The Kick-Off meeting of the NMP-REG project took place in Empoli on 26th – 27th April 2016, at the ASEV (Lead Partner) premises. The first day was designed for partners to get to know each other better and to present NMP-REG to Tuscan regional stakeholders (members of the project local stakeholder group: public authorities, research institutes and enterprises) and to university students. The 2nd day was open to project partners and it has been developed by including a session on Cross-Cutting theme “ICT for Innovation Delivery” and a Consortium Workshop, looking at a comparative overview of regional challenges and good practices. Moreover, the first Steering Group meeting took place, to discuss management related issues, including reporting. Afterwards, partners participated in a study visit to beneficiaries of the Tuscan Policy Instrument (ROP ERDF), nano-laboratory NANOT.T. and private laboratory Ce.Ri.Col.
