How the Covid crisis was answered in Norway?
As you remember, on 23 March 2021, we run an online meeting that was directly addressed to the problem related to the coronavirus crisis. All partners had a chance to present their solutions that were focused to limit the bad influence of this crisis.
In the beginning, our Advisory Partner presented the overall situation of the regions during the Covid pandemic. After that part, all partners presented their Good Practices. the first of them was a presentation of the Norwegian solution.
The presentation was run by ØYVIND TVETEN - ADVISOR AT MØRE AND ROMSDAL COUNTY COUNCIL, and by HÅVAR RISNES - the HEAD OF STARTUP AND SCALEUP, ÅKP.
The main purpose of Corporate Internal Training (BIO) is to prevent employees from being excluded from the labor market, by strengthening their skills or qualifications to make sure they will be qualified to keep working after the restructuring. As of March 2020, the number of unemployed has risen because of the pandemic, the new scheme was designed (BIO2). Primarily the projects aimed at persons who have been laid off in whole or in part. Grants could only cover costs related to providing training – no coverage of salaries for participants. Online training offers that are in addition to the company's ordinary training.
