Today, I'd like to present you the Norwegian startup - FunCom. t is best known for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) titles Age of Conan, Anarchy Online, and The Secret World – and The Longest Journey series of adventure games. The company has offices in Oslo, Norway and North Carolina, US. They previously also had offices in Beijing, Dublin, and Montreal.

This game presents a world torn by conflicts, full of magic and bloodthirsty monsters straight from nightmares, in which, among others, fight for power. for centuries shrouded in an aura of mystery by the Templar and Illuminati groups. During the game, we get to know the dark sides of such locations as New York, Seoul, London, Tokyo, Cairo and Transylvania.

The action of the game takes place in the fantastic universe of Conan the Barbarian. The player takes on the role of an outcast, doomed to traverse the wild, dangerous wastelands. Although the plot plays a supporting role, giving way to extensive gameplay, during the game we have the opportunity to learn about the rich history of the world hidden in ancient ruins - ancient civilizations have left behind both books and various inscriptions that describe old events.
The action of the game takes place in a pseudo-historical fantasy world well known to fans of Howard's prose. Currently, Conan, the Cimmerian, who sits on the throne of the kingdom of Aquilonia, struggles with an iron fist against the ancient forces of evil that seek to overthrow him. The player's task is to survive in this hostile world.

When creating a character, players can choose from many different professions, each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages, and while traveling around the vast world, they can equip it with various equipment, implants and so-called nano-programs. The game world is really huge. It takes several hours of real time to move from one end of the map to the other. It is also characterized by remarkable diversity: there are places straight from futuristic movies and places such as Avalon or Camelot - the seat of knightly clans, faithful to the traditions of fighting with white weapons and knightly honor. It is also inhabited by many races, differing not only in characteristics but also in appearance.
