Baltic Coasts organizes the PLASTECO study visit on aquatic plastics litter clean-up practices and efforts, including prevention initiatives together with the 6th steering group meeting in Riga, Latvia in the period 9-12.05.2022.
The study visit includes a microplastics sampling activity on the beach and a visit to the Latvian Institute of Aquatic Ecology, a tour of the facility of the cleantech startup Polylabs - BIO based polyols for the polyurethane industry and a presentation from the citizen clean-up initiative “My Sea” (Mana jūra).
