About this good practice
A week-long festival on the theme of pilgrimage involving film, walks, literature, drama, music, poetry, local schools and businesses and a community feast at the end of the week.
Multiple organisations at different levels were involved including local history and church groups, businesses, restaurants, local interest groups, national charities, national and local authors, and walking groups.
Local businesses put on pilgrim themed meals and the butcher and baker even created special pilgrim themed produce
