For all Potenters it is now time to sum up the key learnings obtained through phase 1 of the POTEnT project. Although some study visits are still organised, project partners are now working to finalise their Regional Action Plans to present them to their respective Local Stakeholder Group.

On the 30th March 2022, the Strategic Office of Pamplona City Council together with its Energy Agency presented their Regional Action Plan’s proposal in a physical meeting in which approximately 30 stakeholders joined.

At the center of the discussion there were the two main actions of Pamplona’s Regional Action Plan, concerning the development of an energy community in Mendillori District, its replicability and the development of a net of One-Stop-Shop offices supporting citizens in renovating their apartments and covering their consumptions with renewable energy sources.

Two good practices from POTEnT consortium were presented, debated and discussed in this stakeholder meeting aiming at evaluating the best replicable solutions in Pamplona’s context, considering also the framework of Pamplona’s Go Green strategy which take place through the synergy of several EU funded projects: POTEnT, EUCF, OPEN lab.

In Pamplona’s RAP, Energy Communities are a key element, a vehicle to boost energy transition. Concerning CERs, a best practice recently reviewed in POTEnT is the Swedish experience concerning energy cooperatives, which was presented in this occasion. In second part of the meeting, the focus shifted on the role of One-Stop Shops as energy info point to leverage energy efficiency and RES development among residents, industries and local authorities. In this framework, an import workshop session was organised. Thus, Representatives from Parma City Council held an online import workshop concerning the good practice FEASIBLE. After an initial presentation, the debate shifted on the role of facilitators in urban refurbishment, which benefit might they bring, and which constraints shall be taken into account to replicate such solution in local OSSs. The import workshop leveraged many questions among the thrilled and curious participants.

From now until July 2022, a series of key interregional events will fill Potenters agenda, get ready to some hot news coming!
