The first meeting of POWERTY regional partners and experts this year is behind us. On 15th January 2021 good practices in the field of renewable energy sources and financial solutions were discussed, which have proven to be an effective tool to fight energy poverty in countries such as Spain, France, Lithuania and Poland. Solutions such as: solar cookers, intelligent energy management system in homes were presented and entrepreneurs, modular houses, rental of facilities that fully use renewable energy sources, changes in government programs. The event was attended by a total of 18 people, including 16 stakeholders.
Our local partners presented:
1. Changes in the "Clean Air" and "Stop Smog" programs - Dariusz Grabowiecki - Chief specialist for energy consulting, Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Opole.
2. Ecoenergy Festival and upcoming events in the renewable energy industry organized by the Marshal's Office of the Opolskie Voivodeship - Krzysztof Pieroń - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
3. Life Program - Katarzyna Jasińska Senior Specialist of the Department of Environmental Protection Marshal's Office of the Opolskie Voivodeship.
4. Warm up your business vol. 3 - a competition for the idea of how to improve modern energy for the benefit of consumers and the environment. Science and Technology Park in Opole - Michał Wojczyszyn - Management Board Representative for PR and Startups.
5. Products of Galmet sp. Z o.o.- Solar sets, pumps heat, water heaters, central heating boilers, hybrid heating systems - Sebastian Mamczur - Investment Department Manager.
