One of the good practices identified in the POWERTY project in the topic “Empowerment” is in charge of MUTI Association and it’s about citizen participation as a tool to create the Local Energy Community “ALUMBRA" in Andalusia, which include the “Energy in schools” project which consists of an energy audit process of the primary school building with the environmental commission of the centre and whose profits will be reinvested in the school to continue improving its energy efficiency (50/50 methodology).
Today, they want to install in the school a collective photovoltaic installation to produce their own energy and share it with the families who more need it, so they open a crowdfundig to finance this installation during 40 days.
