The Valle del Guadalhorce Local Development Group organized a conference on the cooperation project “Leading Local Energy Communities (LICLE). With this initiative it was sought to change the production and consumption model for a more efficient and responsible one that arises from the local, where those involved in the change act as prosumers or self-consumers, that is, they participate in the generation of the goods and services that then consume.


Ángel Sáez, from the Department of Internationalization, Innovation and Singular Projects of the Andalusian Energy Agency presented the presentation "Local energy communities and incentives for self-consumption in Andalusia", which detailed the instruments that the Agency is developing to promote energy communities, as well as the European POWERTY project.
