POWERTY was presented to the National network of actors against poverty and energy precariousness in housing (RAPPEL network) by Noemie Zambeaux represented the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Énergie Environnement regional agency (AURA-EE).

She indicated that if the energy efficiency of housing remains the priority to get households out of energy poverty, it appears that renewable energies are particularly interesting for making these populations less vulnerable to fluctuations in energy prices. Also, within the framework of the POWERTY project, an analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats has made it possible to highlight the barriers and levers to increase the rate of renewable energy equipment for vulnerable households. Besides, she presented some good practices identified at European level and also the pilot action financed by Interreg Europe in the framework of POWERTY project.
