The Association for the Development of Guadajoz and the Eastern Countryside of Córdoba (ADEGUA) organized a conference on energy communities within the framework of the LICLE Project. ADEGUA coordinates this cooperation project between four Andalusian Rural Development Groups with the aim of invigorating and promoting the creation of Energy Communities in the municipalities of Baena, Castro del Río, Espejo, Nueva Carteya and Valenzuela.

This conference sought to encourage the creation of energy communities in rural areas of Andalusia through cooperation between Rural Development Groups, for which four experiences of energy communities in municipalities of the Spanish geography are presented. The Andalusian Energy Agency (AEA) participated in the conference with the paper Local Energy Communities and the POWERTY project. Framework and opportunities from Andalusia, which presented by Ángel Sáez from the Department of Internationalization and Prospective.
