Via our partner Tolna Council Development Agency (Hungary), an event on water as an ecosystem service:

The event is part of the LIFE16 CCA/HU/000115 LIFE-MICACC project "Municipalities as integrators and coordinators in adaptation to climate change", funded by the European Union’s LIFE Programme (Climate Action sub-programme). The project was launched on 1 September 2017 with the objective of mitigating the negative impacts of extreme weather events (floods, flash floods, inland floods, droughts) amplified by climate change, while further strengthening the adaptive capacity of Hungarian municipalities.

The conference aims to create an opportunity for municipalities and water professionals from different countries to increase their knowledge on different ways of adaptation to climate change at local level and to exchange experiences on the climate challenges affecting water management.

The conference will be held in English.
