On the 3rd day of the October PROMETEUS project meeting, partners and stakeholders took part in an international workshop and the 2nd PROMETEUS field visit.
The workshop was focused on stakeholders in the field of electromobility in Carinthia, but also including a representative of a neighbouring region to better be able to work out common strategies. After several enlightening presentations, each focused on key aspects of electromobility and how they relate to stakeholders, open discussion between all participants commenced.
The field visit started as a leisurely walk through Carinthia’s capital, Klagenfurt, however it soon became apparent why the route was chosen. Hopping on and off electric public transport, including both buses as well as passenger ships, seeing charging stations seamlessly integrated into modern urban life – Klagenfurt might be a prime example for providing for electromobility in urban spaces. The field visit ends with a small full electric speed boat tour in the east bay of the lake Wörthersee.
A library with the held presentations is now implemented on our home page.
All in all, the interregional workshop and field visit proved to be valuable experiences for all participants, which lets us look forward to the next ones this spring, taking place in Castilla y León.
