On 13 June 2019, the third regional dissemination event to promote electric mobility within the framework of the PROMETEUS Project took place in Salamanca. Different stakeholders from the Castilla-León region met with the aim of sharing experiences and knowledge on the subject of alternative mobility.

 

The official opening of this regional event was carried out by Mrs. Heidi Millán Arceo (General Director of the General Directorate of Industry and Competitiveness. Regional Government of Castilla y León) and Mr. Bienvenido Mena Merchán (Salamanca Territorial Delegate of Castilla y León Regional Government).

 

Next, Mr. Carlos Ivan Riñones Mena (Coordinator of the General Directorate of Industry and Competitiveness) presented the Prometeus project activities conducted during this first phase.

 

Then, Mr. Juan Luis Plá de la Rosa (External and Government Affairs Nissan Spain) and Mr. Ali Meddeb Gaaloul (Renault España´s electric vehicle & mobility) set out respectively the Nissan and Renault's strategies for electric vehicle.

 

Afterwards, Mr. Carlos Bergera Serrano (Head of International Affairs in Smart Mobility. Iberdrola) talked about fast charge points - SMART MOBILITY - developed by Iberdrola; and, Mr. Adolfo López Tejido (Network operations and planning in i-DE Iberdrola Group) spoke about the Smart Grid capabilities and reliability of the electric distribution grid. After that, Mr. Miguel Bringas Fernández (Manager of electric vehicle at Fenie Energía) and Mr. José Luis Sánchez Iglesias (AESLUX- – Association of Electrical Installers of Salamanca) explained about the recharging infrastructure.

 

Later, Mr. Orlando Redondo Álvarez (Head of Energy Efficiency and Saving Department of the Regional Entity of the Energy of Castilla-León (EREN)) showed the actions in sustainable mobility included within the MOVELETUR project; and Mr. Javier Carbonero Ciria (Technician of the Green Office USAL) presented different projects related to sustainable mobility developed by the University of Salamanca.

 

Finally, Mrs. Saturnina Moro Malmierca (Head of Economic Department Territorial Delegate of Salamanca) closed the event with a speech summarising the major conclusions.
