The meeting was fruitfully combined with a workshop on the regional entrepreneurial system and the global market. Among those present were representatives of Liguria Region; the Department of Accounting and the Department of Strategical Planning, Smart City, Innovation of Enterprise and Statistics of the Municipality of Genoa; the Chamber of Commerce; Business categories; Trade associations; the software house, which is partner of e-procurement services.
The illustration of PURE COSMOS’ objectives and purposes emphasized the central proactive role of stakeholders, in particular Small and Medium Enterprises.The meeting of 14 September was therefore an important occasion for presenting the project and a fundamental step in setting up the RSG.
The welcome speech by the General Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce, Maurizio Caviglia, was followed by an introduction which was given by Emanuele Piazza, Municipal cabinet member for Economic Development.
Enrica Spotti, financial Manager of the project at the Municipality of Genoa, then discussed PURE COSMOS in the framework of Interreg Europe, outlining goals, methodology and timing.
The main points of interaction with the stakeholders concerned submission of the baseline survey, the selection of a representative sample of businesses interested in taking part in a focus discussion about the main challenges that they face, a firstgathering of good practices.
This initiative met with great interest and involvement both on a professional and on a personal level.
