In July, the EU council adopted the so-called “Omnibus-regulation” which aims to make the EU’s financial rules simpler and more focused on results. In order to comply with this regulation, changes to the funding policy “Weiterbildung Betrieb” (funding for training SME employees) in Saxony-Anhalt are currently being revisited and checked against the requirements of the new regulation.
The revised policy will not only simplify the application and reporting procedure, it will also put a focus on training measures regarding digitalization and the digital transformation process.
