The third Peer Review of the PURE COSMOS project was held in Usti nad Labem, where the international experts tried to answer the following problems of the Region: lack of workforce, low qualification of workforce; administration barriers, support for institutions needed; missing “better” jobs , low value added.
During the two-day-long event the Regional System of Enterprising Support Ws introduced, the participants visited the University of J.E. Purkyně. At the research department, they discussed the RIS3 strategy and the smart city concept; at the roundtable discussion in the innovation centre findings were summarised and the activities for SMEs were provided in the Region. At the end of the event, the experts introduced their preliminary recommendations about the priorities, measures to be implemented. They suggested indicators to use for measurement of the effectiveness of the different regional measures and they also tried to design the business models and good practices including the estimation of the necessary key capacities for activities, which they evaluates as crucial for the Ústí Region.
The final recommendations will be introduced in 2 months after the Peer Review.
