RaiSE wins the Interreg Project Slam
The contest was organised by Interact at the EU Regions Week on 10 October 2018.
We are very proud to announce that last week we won the first place in "Interreg talks: Six projects, one slam!", a great and innovative contest organised by Interact programme at the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels. The aim of this contest is to present Interreg projects to the audience in an entertaining way and using storytelling techniques.
The winner, Paula Santarén, very happy with her award
Six Interreg projects participated in the Project Slam, representing six different Interreg programmes. RaiSE was Interreg Europe's representative in the show. Paula Santarén, representative of the lead partner ACCIÓ and RaiSE project manager, captivated the audience with a performance inspired by the Promotional video of RaiSE and RaiSE poster (mountaineers helping each other to climb the mountain). Paula, dressed up like a mountaineer, explained to the audience her journey and the stages of RaiSE expedition.
We won't explain much of the performance today, because a video of it will be available soon and we don't want to spoil the fun ;) We will just introduce a couple of quotes from Paula: “For social enterprises, the journey to competitiveness is as difficult as climbing a mountain: a mountaineer from RaiSE project will explain you how, thanks to interregional cooperation, we can help social enterprises to be more competitive in the global market – a must see!”

"I want to thank Interreg Europe for their support - we are lucky to belong to the best Interreg programme ever, led by such wonderful people. And I want to thank Interact team as well: thanks a lot for your commitment, your proactivity and your enthusiasm. We have "raised" this performance all together! Participating in the Project Slam, and winning it, was a dream come true".
