The fourth meeting of the Scottish Regional Stakeholder Group for RaiSE project was held in Glasgow on Wednesday 28 November 2018. 37 stakeholders attended representing 28 organisations. This was the first sector stakeholder meeting since Scotland hosted the 10th Social Enterprise World Forum and was an opportunity to reflect on the success of the event and plan for the next Scottish action plan. As a strategy forum, stakeholders met to follow the progress of Scotland’s 10 Year Social Enterprise Strategy, evaluate current activities and identify the next priorities for Scotland’s social enterprise sector.

  • Update all stakeholders on RaiSE Project and its objectives;
  • Update all stakeholders on Scottish Government policy and support ;
  • Understand the changing landscape with Scotland’s new South of Scotland agency ;
  • Reflect on the economic and social legacy of the Social Enterprise World Forum;
  • Consult on intelligence and activity through a SWOT analysis, guided by RaiSE project, to inform the next social enterprise action plan.

Thanks a lot, Scottish Enterprise team and stakeholders, for your enthusiasm and involvement in RaiSE project!
