On 7 February 2017 The Partnership for Social Innovation in Örebro county had its first assembly meeting for 2017. The partnership, coordinated by Development Manager Anders, Region Örebro County, is the Swedish Stakeholder group in the RaiSE project. 19 representatives from different organisations took part in the Stakeholder group meeting. Several issues were on the agenda. RaiSE was one of them.
Ase Johansson, head of Verdandi, a civil society organisation working with vulnerable groups in Sweden, informed the partnership about the RaiSE meeting in Barcelona last week. There was a great interest among the representatives in the partnership to participate in forthcoming meetings in the RaiSE project.
The Partnership also visited Childrens Upptäckarhuset (Children’s Discovery House), one of the social enterprises in the region. Örjan Samuelsson, head of Activa Foundation, gave a presentation on the history of Childrens Upptäckarhuset, its current activities and plans for the future.
